Fields awaken after winter rest. Families gather early, working the land with shared tools and quiet co-ordination. Seeds are planted with care rather than haste and the entire vale feels attentive – like the world is holding its breath for what will grow.
Crops stretch across the valleys and Meadow Vale becomes green upon green. Irrigation channels are painted, fences repaired and livestock moved between grazing fields. Life slow to maintenance and watching – farmer reading the land more than working on it.
This is the most active season in Meadow Vale. Fields are cut in sweeping circles and every settlement contributes to storage and trade. Roads fill with carts and river crossings become busy trade points. What was grown is now gathered, measured and shared.
Fields lie bare under frost or muted rain. Work shifts indoors – repairing tools, planning text cycles and telling stories of past harvests. Travel slows to essential movement only and settlements grow closer together as the vale enters its quietest state.
